Welcome to Rushmere Alpacas

Rushmere Alpacas is a small friendly breeder of quality alpacas based in Old Linslade. We know all our alpacas personally and hand feed them daily. It's owned by Jo Parker and Neil McAndrew and located just north of Leighton Buzzard in a small hamlet called Rushmere. It's easy to reach from the M1 and only 5 minues drive from Leighton Buzzard station, yet very peaceful and quiet.

Apart from the alpacas, we own 2 cats, Tilly and Murphy and 2 dogs, a golden labrador called Rio and a black labrador called Alfie.

We keep a high standard of hygiene and wherever possible use naturpathic remedies to ensure a happy healthy herd. We use our knowledge gained from re-homing other animals to encourage confident animals who are happy being handled.

In the past we have not kept any stud males ourselves to allow us to choose the best possible mates for our girls. However we have just taken delivery of Bozedown Comanche in March, a superb prize winning grey male, son of Bozedown the Chief.  

We have pregnant females,  weanlings and pet males in a wide variety of colours for sale. All our animals are halter trained and we are happy to offer free advice and a 'starter pack' of helpful information and equipment for anyone who is new to keeping alpacas.
