We bought Jay from Wessex Alpacas just before the partnership broke up. Born in July 2008, he has very good genetics from Australian lineage. His grandfather is the famous Purrumbete Highlander and his father is Wessex Julius. He has a really fine dense fleece with a very tight crimp. In addition he has a really gentle character.
He's been placed first in the South West Alpaca Group (SWAG) Spring show in 2010 and came 2nd at the 2009 Royal show in the junior class.
We showed him last year and he was placed at both the National Show and the Kenilworth show.
