We bought Ariadne with her Mum Fabiola from Brill alpacas in February 2007 and she has grown to be a quite delightful alpaca, inheriting her Mum's calm and confident nature.
She has a beautiful fine even dense fleece with excellent coverage and good crimp. She's very easy to work with and is quite happy being led in her halter. She's very comfortable with people and will come up to you as long as you're quiet.
We mated her in August 2009 with Just's 'Armani', a beautiful light fawn male and she produced our first cria of 2010 in July, a lovely light brown boy we've called Demetrius. Not only has she inherited her good nature form her mother, she has also proved as good a Mum and the birth was very easy with Demetrius growing fast. He has a beautiful fleece which is growing very quickly. We have mated her this year to our own stud Comanche and has produced a sweet white faced fawn female, Euridice, again with a good conformation and fleece and a lovely temperament
This year we've mated her with our own Jay and are sure we will get a really excellent alpaca from that pairing.
