Damocles was the last of our boys born in 2010 and is everyone's favourite. He's dark brown and the son of our black girl Treacle and Koricancha Sinbad of Wessex. I first learnt of his birth from a text from Neil when I was working in Madagascar. He was very small with spindly little legs which could barely hold him and he could not stand up long enough to feed. Neil had to organise some friends to come in and bottle feed him whilst he was out at work. The photos below were taken on the day of his birth.
Thankfully he soon put on weight and was able to stand on his own 4 feet. He's done well since then but is still a little on the small side. He's very friendly, easy to halter and will make a wonderful pet.
