Rushmere Alpacas

Woke this morning to heavy snow falling, which the dogs loved as ever. It looked like all the girls had spent the night in the stable so I set to doing some pooper scooping while Neil took food down to the girls in the middle paddock. There's several large willows in the paddock which form a good shelter for them and they had clearly spent the night under the trees as there were 4 alpaca shaped unfrozen areas of grass.

Once the stable was clear the girls in the top paddock were allowed back in. We gave them some left over leak tops but they were more interested in the sheep nuts. Erin's bound to eat them later - she loves variety.
