Thank goodness I was not intending going anywhere today. We woke to several inches and some very white alpacas! Andromeda likes the stable, but the others in the top paddock prefer to be outside and had a thick layer of snow on their backs. They were tucking in to the hay bar when we went out to them and really appreciated the apple and sweet potatoe peelings we gave them.
We postponned the vet's visit for a week as although we're not totally snowed in, holding snow covered alpacas still for him really did not appeal (and I got the impression he wasn't over keen either)
