Rushmere Alpacas

We'd booked Mike to come and give Dionysius 'the chop'. We're waiting to see with Demetrius as his 2nd fleece seems to be cming up quite well. Damoclese of course is in his new home and Darius was always destined for stud-hood. I brought Dio across from his paddock. He wasn't terribly keen to leave his friends but perked up when he saw he'd be with other alpacas. I shut him in the newly cleaned stable amd acted as head holder whilst Mike and another vet did the work. It was all very quick and easy, although he did take a while to come round from his tranquiliser. Still, he was none the worse, although the other alpacas in the paddock were a bit stand offish with him.
