Rushmere Alpacas

I noticed that they've extended the closing date for the Hope fleece show so we decided to enter a couple of our fleeces in the show. we went for Brunhilde and Jade. I don't know how they'll do but it'll be good to get the marking sheets back as it gives an idea of the quality of the fleece.

I sorted Brunhilde's fleece in the afternoon. I do it on a paper table cloth spread over the bed. I had to shut the cats out, which did not impress Tilly at all. (Murphy was out prowling anyway) It's quite painstaking work picking out all the bits of hay and straw and getting all the fleece turned the right way round. It looked great when it was all finished. I still have jade's fleece to go.
