Rushmere Alpacas

A lady called norma called today to look at the alpacas with a view to buying a female. Shame the weather was so abysmal. All the alpacas looked like drowned rats but behaved very well, consiering they hate being handled in the rain as the inside of their fleece is still dry but if you hanle them it makes the wet bits touch their skin. Afterwards we talked about what she hoped to do with her alpacas and which one would be suitable. She's gone away with a list and will come back to us.

in the afternoon we walked over to Alex and Nadia for a glass of wine in neil's case and tea in mine. we noticed our pond had actually overtopped the bank and the stream had come over the culvert.  I hope it's not undone too much of my efforts to imrpove the lower paddock.

Alex is quite keen for us to take the larger paddock when the current farmer's licence expires and we're certainly interested. It would take the pressure off us to sell the babies. Hmm.
