The purchasers for our tow boys came todayto pay the deposit and see them now they're microchipped and ready to be registered. Sammy also came and took some photos. We checked the youngsters to see if the smallest halters would fit and they were too large even for Calpurnia and Ceasar who are the largest. However it won't be long before they're ready. We did do some halter work with Claudia and Andromeda. Claudia behaved impecably - until she saw Andromeda getting stroppy and then she joined in. Andromeda really didn't like it at all - it was no problem before she became pregant but it's not unnusual for female alpacas to become more wary when they're pregant - especially for the first baby. We'll keep working on them - after all we haven't done any halter work for a couple of months.
