The girls were all fine when we came to feed them this morning. They hadn't quite got the hang of the hedge which runs along part of the centre of the field and some looked over it as us as we filled all their buckets so Neil had to walk to the end and call them when they all came racing down to him. They then followed him like the pied piper to the two pends we got set up.
We managed to seperate the mums and cria off from the maidens so that we could give extra food to the nursing mums. They nibbled at the sugar nbeat but w egot the distinct impression that they weren't as hungry as before but with all the grass and hedgerow material to eat it's not suprising.
