Rushmere Alpacas

It snowed really heavily last night - I had a terrible journey back from Wales. The girls were completely unphased by it all. In fact most of them still had unmelted snow on them - they're so well insulated. They were very pleased to see the food and tucked in with huge enthusiasm. It looked like they had just been relying on the hay apart from that as everything is covered with a thick layer of snow.

Neil carried buckets of hot water and it was a good thing he did as all the buckets in the field were frozen solid. cars were having fun and games getting in and out of the drive past the entrance to the field. I was glad we walked.
